I’m Mohamed Ashraf, a Flutter developer in Cairo. I take mobile features from implementation through release — most recently as the sole mobile engineer on a real-estate app used by more than 180,000 people. I also built and published Noor Al-Imaan, an offline-first Islamic app on the Play Store.

Production real-estate mobile application with 180K+ users. Sole mobile developer on a Flutter / Dart Android codebase.

  • Implemented and maintained Flutter / Dart Android features end to end on a Riverpod codebase serving 180K+ users.
  • Improved app performance (startup, memory) by profiling launch and removing duplicate launch-time API calls.
  • Integrated a third-party payment SDK with checkout recovery after interrupted payments.
  • Built and maintained CI/CD for Google Play releases with GitHub Actions and Fastlane (AAB / APK builds and store uploads).
  • Shipped 3 product flows: deep linking, property comparison, and onboarding; expanded unit, widget, and automated tests.
  • Investigated and fixed production issues as the only mobile engineer, from reproduction to release.

About

I write Flutter and Android code, with a year of focused mobile work and about two years writing software overall. I care about clean architecture, tests, and the unglamorous parts of shipping: startup time, install size, background work, and a release pipeline that does not break on upload day. Before the real-estate contract I built GradEase, a graduation-project platform, as freelance Flutter work. I studied Computer Science at FCIS, Ain Shams University (2020–2024), and I previously volunteered as a Flutter instructor and vice head at Support FCIS.

About one year focused on mobile / Flutter, and about two years writing software overall. Flutter, Dart, Kotlin, and Java are each about one year.
